As a Southern Californian (away from wildfire areas), my main concerns are an earthquake. Assuming our building remains intact, we have enough water and food to last a few weeks.
We also have several battery packs to recharge phones when the power goes out, but that’s only to check for news updates (assuming cell towers are even working), and gaming to pass the time. In other words, these battery packs won’t last long.
Let’s assume a prolonged no-electricity situation, where, since we have propane stoves, we’re perfectly fine waiting things to be restored at home… but it takes awhile.
What do you recommend in the way of entertainment? Obviously books by LED/candlelight would take up a good chunk of time, but what else?
